I am a PADI Certified Diver

I went to Similan Islands to learn diving during December 23-29, 2007. We stayed in Phuket for one night and left early in Tuesday morning to Tublamu pier to take a speed boat to a boat that we would stay for 3 nights. I was seasick while I was staying on the boat and I could not read anything so dive instructor had to read book for me and teach diving theory verbally. Finally, I passes the test and certified the PADI Open Water Diver. However, I need more practice since I still can not control my bouyancy well. Under the sea, I almost kicked P.Ou and a Korean guy, and I had to move forward all the time otherwise I would sink, P.Ou and Noon were so tried to swam after me. Anyway, it is an enjoyable experience. The instructor said I should dive again in a couple months to refresh all those I have learned.
We were back to Phuket on Thursday afternoon and stayed in Phuket for a night in order for the body to decompress as recommended by the PADI.

See some photos from underwater at my web albums at http://picasaweb.google.com/arthivon/SimilanDec07

At a corner on the boat, I was studying with Dive Instructor, Kru Blackie, he is a funny guy, always makes me feel relax while diving under the sea.

I was sleeping in captain room because of seasick.

During practice open water dive 2.

Talard Klong Suan 100 Pee

On Sunday December 16, 2007, we went to "Talard Klong Suan 100 Pee" which is about 40 minutes from our houses. This market is located in 2 provinces, Chachoengsao and Samutprakarn. The community was founded since 100 years ago which boats transportation was the convenient way to passage to Bangkok. We arrived at 4pm., many shops had been closed. We bought Hoi Jor, Salt Eggs, Kui Chai, mangoes, etc. We saw lots of things that we used to see, eat and play when we were kids. It was a nice place to visit.

What are you doing when you feel upset?
On Thursday December 13, 2007, while I was driving home, I decided to go to temple. I went to Wat Luang Poh Sotorn to pay respect to the Buddha, make merits, and pray for many wishes. I hope that my wish will come true soon.

JC Yentafoe

On Saturday 8 December, 2007, we took P.Ou's mom to have Yentafoe at Convent Road. It is called JC Yentafoe, its stall is behind the parking lot of Phillip building. This shop is well-known because its noodle is tasty which you do not need to put any other seasoning. In addition, the way they organize the seats to make the most turnover during peak hour is excellent. We have to tell the seater a number of people in our group and listen to him where to be seated, and we have to order all noodles we need in one time otherwise it will take long time to receive noodles of the second order. It is the rule of the shop, as long as the food is good, it still works.

We were enjoying Sen-Yai-Heng Yentafoe.

Please do not be wrong, all were not mine.

P.Ou's mom enjoyed Roti at Starbucks while I was buying a coffee.

Body Glove Sealing Ceremony

I am a director and audit committee in Body Glove (Thailand) Plc. The company is going to sell its new 20 million shares to public (IPO) at the end of this month, the signing ceremony usually will be established to sign the underwriting agreement between the company and underwriters to underwrite these new shares. However, because of its fashionable, easy lifestyle products, the company would like to initiate new things by doing the sealing ceremony instead of the traditional signing ceremony. The event is at Atrium Zone, Central World on November 21, 2007.

P.Ou and Dickson, BGT's managing director, are among beautiful and handsome young models.

Climax of the ceremony - Sealing.

Proud and her friends also get a part-time job, and they always pose ab-baew.

On Lok Yun

Noon had a class today so I and P.Ou decided to have breakfast at On Lok Yun, a hip cafe where the 50's trendy people hanged. It still has plenty of customers, especially on the weekend. It opens 5.30am to 6pm and serves only breakfast, such as eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, Chinese sausage, bread with butter, jam or custard, etc. and coffee and tea are also tasty. It is worth to try, however since the location is on Charoenkrung Rd. adjacent to Salachalermkrung, it is a bit difficult to find parking space.

The above was food we ordered, including a few pieces of papaya, it costed Bt 162.

My 37th Birthday

My 37th birthday! I and my mom went to make merits at Wat Luang Poh Sotorn, Chachoengsao. I prayed for many good things for my life and family. We had lunch at a eatery nearby the river, they cooked grilled river prawn better than I expected and fish curry cake was tasty.

Grilled river prawns, our favorite.

Ah Yat Abalone Forum Restaurant

On November 7, 2007, our Wednesday eating tour, which include P.Ou's mom, P.Ou, my mom, and I, went to have lunch at Ah Yat Abalone Forum Restaurant, Menam Riverside Hotel. Noon could not join us since she had to make up her assignment at school. We did not have abalone, we had dim sum because of its 50% discount on weekday. Merit and Shopaholic

Yesterday I was out all day, while waiting for Noon’s studying, I and P.Ou went to Siriraj Hospital to sign a get-well registry to the King and his elder sister to wish them a quick recovery, there were lots of people there. Then we went to Priest Hospital met P.Ou’s mom and P.Oy, P.Ou’s elder sister, to make merits for P.Ou’s dad by paying respect and offering food to the monks, we come here every year.

In the afternoon, it seemed like I was hypnotized, I went to Bangkok Bank, head office, as I intended to buy some mutual funds and met my aunt, fortunately I met my mom too. Then I dropped by market beside the bank, it was called soi La-lai-sab and because of its name, I bought coffee for my breakfast, a jacket for my next trip and shoes for …, I was so crazy. I will not go there again for several months since I do not want to impose on P.Ou. I am going to be more considerate on spending.

Sock and Chair

Do you know what it is? It is sock for chairs. Originally, I bought from Y100 shop in Japan and it is stretching, so P.Ou gives an idea of DIY because he saw me sometimes knitting scarf. I decide to crochet which I have not been able to do it well since high school and my mom always did the crochet homework for me. Anyway, see how it looks, not bad ha. It can make your home lovelier, I think. It can be used to replace felt pads. Call me if you like to have it for your chair.

P.Ou Birthday Party

P.Ou birthday party among closed friends was set on October 24 at the Ninth Café. It was fun, seem like we did not meet for a long time so we started to talk louder and louder. P.Ple, the owner of the Ninth, was a humorous entertainer, we both enjoyed eating and laughing.

There were 5 candles on P.Ou's birthday cakes, sponsored by P.Tong.

P.Ple presented 3 kinds of cakes from the Ninth, very delicious. Yummy!
