Ah Yat Abalone Forum Restaurant
On November 7, 2007, our Wednesday eating tour, which include P.Ou's mom, P.Ou, my mom, and I, went to have lunch at Ah Yat Abalone Forum Restaurant, Menam Riverside Hotel. Noon could not join us since she had to make up her assignment at school. We did not have abalone, we had dim sum because of its 50% discount on weekday. Dim sum here is Hong Kong style , so it looks different. We had fried tofu with chili and salt, fish with fried egg noodle, sauimai, streamed tofu in bean curd sheet, sticky rice in lotus leaf, tan tart, yellow BBQ pork bun, turnip cake, fried shrimp in bean curd sheet, fried chives dumpling, and streamed BBQ pork noodle, streamed pra-tong-koh noodle. Sorry that I cannot remember all the name what we ordered.

Merit and Shopaholic
Yesterday I was out all day, while waiting for Noon’s studying, I and P.Ou went to Siriraj Hospital to sign a get-well registry to the King and his elder sister to wish them a quick recovery, there were lots of people there. Then we went to Priest Hospital met P.Ou’s mom and P.Oy, P.Ou’s elder sister, to make merits for P.Ou’s dad by paying respect and offering food to the monks, we come here every year.
In the afternoon, it seemed like I was hypnotized, I went to Bangkok Bank, head office, as I intended to buy some mutual funds and met my aunt, fortunately I met my mom too. Then I dropped by market beside the bank, it was called soi La-lai-sab and because of its name, I bought coffee for my breakfast, a jacket for my next trip and shoes for …, I was so crazy. I will not go there again for several months since I do not want to impose on P.Ou. I am going to be more considerate on spending.

Although this temple is located among shopping centers, between Central World and Siam Paragon, it is quiet and peaceful, suitable for meditation. Vegetarian - Kin Jay
This year, vegetarian or Kin Jay period is during October 10-20. It is an annual event during the first nine days of the ninth Chinese lunar month. It is a time of penance and purifying of body and mind, and to attain this goal, followers abstain from eating meat, animal products and strong smelling vegetables such as onion, celery, garlic, and certain spices. I have eaten Jay during the period for long, long time ago because my mom’s family found a Rowng Jay at Sampran, Nakornprathom. Long ago, it hardly finds Jay food sold anywhere, but now it turns popular, you can get it easily with yellow flags beside their food stalls.
My Rowng Jay’s activities start one day before the first day of the event by inviting God to stay at the Rowng Jay. All of the rites and activities perform by Tao monks whom invited from Chinese temple in Bangkok. I am not sure how many times monks bless in a day, I think at least 3 times, morning, before lunch, evening. But some day, such as day 3, 6, 8, 9 may be 4 times including night time. On day 8 night, there is loi-kra-thong which every registered follower will have a crinum leaf kra-thong; the floating of a kra-thong is intended to float away ill fortune as well as to express apologies to Khongkha or Ganga, the River Goddess. On day 9, there are more activities, vagrant ghost oblation and ting-kra-jard, in the afternoon, and late at night, a few followers go with a floating house and incense until it was flame in order to repatriate the God. Breakfast of the next morning is the last Jay meal.
I found it a little difficult since no one around me joins me this activity. I know they try to accommodate me as much as possible. I have not been to Rowng Jay for a couple years since I do not like lots of people, and it is now quite far from my house. Anyway, some of Rowng Jay's food is delicious, you can bring back home as much as you can, I like tao-jeaw-lon, and curry; my mom always brings me some of them when she goes there. Many restaurants sell jay food but I am not sure they know how to cook it properly, they must separate kitchenware and ingredients. There are also plenty of Jay foods sold in supermarket, I always look into the label what they are made from to make sure that I can eat it with no doubt. God, please forgive me if I have unintentionally done or eaten anything wrong.
In addition, I am so sorry that I can not enjoy P.Ou and Pum+’s birthday cake this year.

Wedding Ceremony
Yes! I was proposed on Feb 29, 2004, the bissextile day.
For the ceremony, I knew that he thought about a simple, small party with only relatives and close friends. However, I am the only one child and my parents have lots of friends, so I had to balance their needs by organizing the proper and simple party. I went to see a Chinese Master to find the auspicious wedding date, which was July 6, 2003; I had plenty of times for preparation. We estimated that there were not more than 500 guests for evening banquet, and to be convenience, we decided to do all the ceremonies at the hotel, so we looked for place which was in CBD and had good food with reasonable price. We selected Dusit Thani Hotel, Saladaeng Room for morning session and Dusit Thani Hall for evening session.
I have been told that bride and groom would be tired in preparing the ceremony. Things went on easy for us. One month before wedding day, invitation cards were distributed by hand, post, and e-mail and some by assistance of our relatives and friends. One day before wedding day, I remembered that it was the closing day of NHA securitization II so I worked in the morning, went to spa for 3 hours in the afternoon, and then to beauty salon. I also visited Pomme to say happy birthday to Nong Mook, Pomme’s second daughter, at the hospital.
Monks were invited, by phone, for the Buddhist ceremony for the morning session. The monk was so kind to me, he knew me since I was a little girl; he said he would come by taxi. How nice he was.
On July 6, 2004, the ceremony started at 6.30 a.m. with monks blessing and Rod-Nam-Sang event. It finished around 10.30 a.m. I went to noodle shop at Sukhumvit 26 and came back to take a nap at the hotel before beautician came to dress me up for the evening party.

The evening party took 4 hours of standing, greeting, and smiling. More guests than we were expected, the room was crowd. I did not have a chance to visit the food stalls to see how they looked, but many guests said the food were good. P.Ohm was an MC; Khun Pakhawat and my godfather gave the speech. Traditionally, I expressed thanks to my family and P.Ou’s for their support, and also all the guests who came to the party, it was long for 1.5 minutes but P.Ou just said thank you, guests made loud buzz.
I believe it's the beginning of happy ending story.

Commencement
Congratulation for both of you, Pum+ and Pin, for your graduation. They are my lovely close cousin, our houses are walking distance. We, with Proud, used to spend weekend nights together playing play station at my house when they were in high school; that was such a pleasurable moment of my life.
Pum+ graduated from Thammasat University, B.Sc. (Statistic), the commencement was on August 4, 2005. Now, she is training to be Thai Airways' flight attendant.
Pin graduated from Kasetsart University, B.B.A. (Hotel and Tourism Management), the commencement was on July 27, 2007. She is looking for what she can start her career, I wish she can find the right one soon.

Doggy Story - Peanut and Benny
As the Beagle, he is hardy, sturdy squarely-built, small hound with tri-color. He is lively, naughty, and curious dog, which always digs and runs thru the bush and around the house to find something to play with, so flowers cannot be grew. Because of the age difference, when he plays with Benny, we often hear Benny barks or gnarrs at him and see some bloodstain on Benny’s body. I usually get along with Benny rather than Peanut since he likes to jump and scratch my legs, and I think he does not know the word “Do” and “Don’t” because he responds the same as everyone wants to play with him. We may not be watchful and patient enough to train him from the beginning, thus we decide to have some professional do firm training. Anyone has ideas for a good place?
Note: it is hard to take his pictures since he always jumps at me so I have to be on the terrace and call him while he keeps running around.
Learnt Each Other
To be better understand each other, we have been to various places. Those period is one of the happiest time of me.
At a restaurant during trip to Hua Hin, April 2003.

At Ubonrat Dam, there was a seminar with client, May 2003.
At Bang Pra-in Palace, we went to Manora Boat trip from Bangkok to Ayudhya, 2003.
At Koh Chang with P.Ou's family, July 2003.
