On October 12, 2007, with sponsored by P.Pook, I and P.Ou went to see Tennis PTT Bangkok Open 2007 at LATA National Tennis Development Centre, Muang Thong Thani. We saw 2 semifinal matches, Flavia Pennetta (ITAx7) vs. Shahar Peer (ISRx3) and Venus Williams (USAx2) vs. Camille Pin (FRA). The first match took almost 2 hours; Pennetta lost her first set and had to have foot treatment but won last 2 sets. In my opinion, it was because she could constantly and confidently control her temper and strokes better than Peer who is younger and world number 16, the score was 3-6, 6-4, 6-2. The second match was world number 8 Williams. She played aggressively against Pin who tried bravely to return William's tough strokes, and the score was 6-1, 6-1.Thanks to P.Pook, it was so nice and enjoyable.
Venus Williams is tall, the court looks small compare to her.
Flavia Pennetta is the champion of the tournament.
